2 Days Past Transfer

I woke up at 4 am this morning. I just laid in bed thinking about what could possibly going on inside my uterus. What are they doing? Are they making themselves at home? I hope and pray that they are. I really want them stick around.

According to the 5dt transfer list I posted in the IVF post they should be attaching to my lining.

5-DAY TRANSFER:
-1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
0dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
1dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
2dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
3dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
4dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
5dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells & fetal cells
6dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
7dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
8dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
9dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on HPT

I also thought about how I would tell people I am pregnant. I wonder what it will be like to get that positive test or beta. I smile just thinking about it. I really, really want this.

Am I greedy because I want both to stick? I can't even think about just one sticking. I want them both. Don't get me wrong I will be over the moon excited for one, but I know there are two in there right now. No matter how I think about it there are two embryos in there that are a part of Aaron and I.

I am stuck at home for another day, we finally got the snow storm we have been promised. I guess this means I have one more day at least to let them snuggle in and not go out in the cold.

I should receive the call this morning letting me know if we have any little snowbabies (embryos that made it to blast stage and can be frozen).

A frozen cycle is call a FET (Frozen Embryo Transfer).

I will post again once I get my phone call from the RE's office.
